This course will teach a new approach for diminishing muscle tension and strain by reeducating the nervous system to reset and balance muscular activity levels. By using gentle, specific input to the joints and bones overactive muscular activity is diminished both locally and regionally in the body. Clients often report significant relief from chronic pain and stress issues when treated with this technique.
ReTensioning® is not only effective but also physically much easier on the practitioner than most manual techniques as it gets the client’s own system to provide most of the energy for changing the tissues.
Developed and taught by John Macy PT, ReTensioning® is based on forty years of clinical practice in manual therapy and neurological rehabilitation.
*Friday, November 12 to ReTensioning® 1, Introduction and Major Joints (8 CEU’s)
Saturday, November 13 ReTensioning® 2- Distal and Complex Joints (8 CEU’s)
*ReTensioning® 1 Introduction and Major Joints is required before taking either ReTensioning® 2.
Cost – $185 per course.
Discounted rate of $125 per course for students retaking the courses as a refresher.
***Registrants are required to be vaccinated at least two week prior to the start of class.
