Understandably, the COVID-19 pandemic has many of us concerned about how to move forward with our daily routines. At this time, I have decided that business will continue with a few modifications to our normal cleaning protocol and massage appointment procedures.
Massage Room Cleaning:
Our Massage Therapists and students have always been required to disinfect the massage tables and wash their hands before and after each client, so this will not change. They are cleaning the high touch areas in the massage rooms, such as door knobs and light switches. We are also disinfecting common high touch areas, such as the front door, lobby, front desk counter and restrooms multiple times per day.
We have asked all students and employees to stay home in the event of sickness to prevent any possible exposure to you our clients. We politely ask you to do the same for us. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies have always been extremely flexible in order to give clients peace of mind and we will not be changing this policy. If you have experienced a fever (100.4 degrees or greater), chills, cough, any respiratory distress and/or sore throat within 72 hours of your appointment, please reschedule your appointment for a minimum of 14 days.
Upon scheduling and/or arriving for your massage appointment, you will be asked to answer a few additional screening questions related to the COVID-19 symptoms. If any symptoms have been experienced within the previous 2 weeks, we will need to reschedule your appoint. At this point we would rather be safe than sorry.
